Week

Took the bike out for its first ride around the Malvern loop. Felt strange. I'm definitely going to have to get that seat post shifted upwards. New tyres/inner tubes, cones front and rear, cables, handlebar tape, chain, BB axle, pedals, saddle, couple of spokes - and a can of Brasso. My hands are filthy.
I like old bikes. My dad had some lovely stuff in the garage when I was a lad: Claud Butler and Mercian track frames, exotic strangely pitched chain sets, wooden-rimmed wheels. My bro got rid of a lot of it in the 80s. Probably worth a mint nowadays.
