Posing for the tourists..

We've had a couple of days off in London and spent the morning at the Serpentine in Hyde Park. Just having a coffee watching all the birds when this heron stopped for a rest.

He didn't seem to be fazed by all the people around and let me get fairly close to take this - there was a man sitting at a table who I've cropped out, not sure he even knew the heron was at his side.

Lovely day, bit of a painful journey home as a tree came down near Banbury so we all got turfed off the train. Got home in the end and just felt lucky we weren't on the previous train, not sure how long they had to sit there with the tree blocking the way.
