This Is Not A Pied Flycatcher (Sadly)

But it is a pied wagtail catching a fly. :)

I have been hanging around all day waiting for a land agent to phone me. I decided to do some bug togging just outside the back door so that I could hear the phone.

A pair of pied wagtails arrived and were tottering around on the roof so I swapped lenses quickly and got this shot of one in the act of catching a fly. It didn't eat it but flew off with it in its beak. Maybe they have a brood?
