Happy Daffodils II

Our house was a hive of activity this morning, with Bb being up and out to do a coaching session at 7.15am; a quick visit to the food market for me, then my mum-in-law up and us having breakfast; remember the curtain colour samples we asked for your advice on choosing two months ago - well, it was fitted at 10.30 this morning (future blip); then our friend Alistair dropped in for coffee; then another chat with a neighbour with an invitation for a birthday lunch next week; and yet another visit from another neighbour looking for advice on which Internet/phone company to use. No sooner had Bb and I sat down to do some work, than it was lunchtime (just soup and a sandwich!); then a few hours solid work for us at our respective desks; early evening saw Bb taking our bikes in for a full service (sounds easier than it was!); a cancelled trip to the cinema early evening as it was going to be too much of a rush; and last but not least, a wee walk in our barrio, followed by dinner in 'the restaurant at the end of our street'.
