Sign of a visitor…..

Rain all the way from our door in Seattle to our door in the Gulf Islands, BC. Felt so bad for those rescuers as we passed over the river coming from the big mud slide in Oso.
This is a sign of who has been on the 18th step up to our cabin (18 more to go).. some creature who eats food with shells... also lots similar on the ramp to the dock, but those got cleaned off before I could get there with camera. Who do you think?

Old mossy wood and one newer replaced stair tread. A few Doug fir needles.

It cleared for a bit this afternoon - had a walk around to see thankfully only small branches down from windstorms….
