A favourite walk of mine.

This darken path, a leftover from the last century is all there is left of one of the few things to remind us of what was in those days a vital transport link in our countryside. It is the track of a local railway line. The cinders still staining the soil, that connected the GWR and the LMS railways before they reached Birmingham. It stopped at our (CoffeePotters and mine) house, built on a small rural station just a few hundred yards from where this picture was taken.
