DDW March Challenge #28 Lentic

Lentic Adj. of relating to, or living in still waters. A trumpeter swan today in a large water-slain pond. My friend Carolyn, who retired at 80 a couple of years ago, decided to write a haiku about this photograph:

I spied a white swan
Today as I took my way
By a lentic pond.
