RNLI Rescue on Foot
Today has been lovely. I took the children to a "mums breakfast" as the local church, and later my parents came over to visit.
We took a walk at our local beach and noticed that a boat had become stuck between sandbanks at low tide. We watched as the RNLI lifeboat appeared to rescue the boat in trouble, but the drama increased as the RNLI boat had to halt it's mission or risk getting stuck too!
Instead two of the crew crossed the sandbanks from the shoreline to walk out and help the boat.
The rescue was a success eventually.
I managed to snap away as the drama unfolded, and chose this photo for my blip as the RNLI crew approach the boat.
