Helter-Skelter

Wandering around the Christmas markets and rides in town this afternoon with my parents takes me back to all the traditional rides you still see today in Princes Street gardens including, the helter-skelter, carousel and ice-skating.

These days I'm quite happy to watch but seeing all the young children out and about with their parents begging them to go all on the rides certainly brings back some good memories.

I love how Christmas brings out the kid in all of us, even us big kids!
