Ernie

The weather here today was so lovely we had to abandon all work and sit in the sunshine like Ernie (our grumpy cat). I do actually have children but they won't get photographed any more. My 12 year old does paparazzi avoidance manouveres when she sees the camera. I cannot convince her that she will regret this when she is old and wrinkly. I did manage to get some of the boys playing with playmobil 'guys' in the garden ("Your monkey is the secret weapon right?" "Yeah and right when I do an invasion like my guy sneaks up here" "Yeah but you can't have that boat 'cos they weren't invented then" "But he can fly can't he?" "No that's stupid") but they were rubbish so the pets win again.
