DDW's March 2014 Challenge Day 29: Euphonious = Pleasing to the ear

I love it when the doorbell rings. We don't get many visitors and it's always exciting opening the door to see who it might be. Today it was the best sort of surprise...A completely unexpected boquet of flowers being delivered for little old me!!

I took them through to the house...about as bewildered as Talisker, wondering who would be sending me flowers. I knew it wasn't Porridge Wog as he was looking on curiously.

Turns out they were from PW's Sister - She wanted to thank me 'for looking after my Mummy'. Just such a lovely, thoughtful thing to do. I know it is difficult being so far away from your Mother and how reassuring it is to have people who care close by...But I don't feel I have done anything special to deserve flowers.

I shall call her this evening to thank her. It will be our first conversation... might have to have a sip of wine first ;)
