Japanese Quince
My garden is pretty wild. There's about one and a half acres so I don't really micromanage it, I am happy for areas to run wild and just work a bit with nature to keep things this side of chaos. But today I planted several old roses and pruned the Japanese Flowering Quince which was starting to get very straggly.
There was a bit of a sea mist (known in Norfolk as a "fret") in the morning but it cleared just in time for us to have a relaxed late breakfast in the sun. Lovely.
