Spent most of today chipping plaster off walls in the cottage. Why?

Well you remember 5 years ago how the banks screwed the economy by being reckless?

Well ironically, our buyers bank won't release his money because some of the walls show signs of damp!! Which in the really world are perfect for a 300 year old cottage!!!

Soooo to be extra cautious we need to have a guaranteed membrane just to keep them "happy"

So to be clear, we the public, who bailed the reckless banks out, are now working our weekends to reassure the same banks, that our hard work earned properties are worthy of their (our) money!!! Is it I just me !!!!
