Pre-Match Tension

The anxiety etched on the faces of fellow Yeovil fans just before kick-off proved to be well justified. Having matched fellow strugglers Barnsley in a nervous and edgy first half, we made two defensive errors to gift them two goals early in the second and, despite pulling one back, got caught twice on the break to concede two more.

No complaints really: they coped with the tension better than us and took their chances well. With just 7 games to go, we'll do well to escape relegation from the position we're in now. (i.e. we need a miracle!)

Just noticed there was similar tension, but at the other end of the table, a year ago.
