Vondelpark

Today was warm and sunny so after a late lunch we strolled through Vondelpark. With the beautiful weather, it seemed almost every inch of the park was in use. nIn addition to the usual cyclists, runners and walkers, balls were being kicked and thrown to people and dogs, blankets were spread for picnics, and balloons were floating from trees for a birthday party.

This photo was taken from one of the smaller paths in the park and was one of the quieter areas. The main road in the distance is busier, and there are many people on the large lawn beyond the main road.

Spring is in the air!
