Bringing Derek home

Marilyn and I had a lovely morning having a mooch around Llangollen and a walk around the lovely Plas Newydd where Lady Eleanor Butler and Miss Sarah Ponsonby lived together in the regency era - I think today's historic law that came into force today allowing gay couples to marry would have been welcomed by the 'ladies of Llangollen' as they were known.

This afternoon a small group of us went to Derek's memorial followed by a steep climb up Dinas Bran to scatter Derek's ashes. A fantastic place with amazing views.
