Brass Eye

This might have been called shop to shop.

For a number of reasons (including sore backs and sparrowhawks) didn't get much opportunity to take anything outdoors today.

This pair of little brass elephants are candle holders, they stand about 3 inches high, and stay on our mantelpiece above the fire which is the only light in the room just now (Earth Hour - laptop's on battery...)

Anyway, these are a vestige of my late grandmother's long time closed antique shop on Candlemakers Row in Edinburgh, and I took a few pics of them today to practice on in another kind of 'shop....
