Message from a very very proud wife

All of my photos were pretty blurry from today, but I really wanted to post something to document the occasion.

Today my lovely Cyclops (pictured here with fellow graduate M and in the link) graduated from the Saltire Fellowship - a year long Scottish Enterprise funded programme which he started way back here in January when he travelled to the USA to live in Boston and then California for seven months followed by a placement in Scotland.

This has been a HUGE year for us as a couple (apart), financially (limited) and for Cyclops in particular to undertake such an emotional and intellectual challenge. When we describe to people what he has been doing and what he has achieved it is difficult to convey the scale and scope of the opportunity and I don't think people really realise quite what a high level and accelerated programme it has been, and how challenging it has been for a group of people who are already experienced and sucessful in their careers.

Cyclops has worked extremely hard and been very focused, giving 100% to everything that has been thrown at him and rising to every challenge. He has rarely stopped working for eleven months except to sleep.

I could not be more proud of him today on his graduation day.
