Future champion?

M played in a badminton tournament this afternoon and I went along to watch. This boy was one of the young competitors from a neighbouring town. He kept on fiddling with the tiny hair 'tail' on his head, trying to keep the hair inside the rubber band. He was also wearing earrings which I thought was very strange for such a young boy. I guess I am just old fashioned and he is just being fashionable! I am not sure how good a player he is though, but he was very enthusiastic.
