Carnegie Library

This is the day that Dunfermline's Carnegie Library closes down for refurbishment. I think this was the first of the many Carnegie Library buildings that became the national service we treasure so much today. The good folk of Dunfermline will need to do without access to it for a couple of years while a new building comprising I think a museum and art gallery is integrated into the old
