La Santa Maria
Here in Sitges for the second time in two weeks, this time with Mum. The wind is up and relentless, but we had a superb lunch in La Santa Maria beside where we are staying. The paella was great, as well as the tomato and onion starter. Peter and Janice, if they look in, should have their mouths watering for their next stop over heading south!
It was a busy preparation period before we left including inflating all four tyres of our nearly classic Saab 900 (perhaps about to be sold), as well as topping up on its fuel and putting it through the car wash to get rid of the unusually large amount of pollen that has fallen in Barcelona these last few days, and set more than one nose a-sneezing, including ours.
Mum is happy, with a view over the turbulent sea (see Dd's blip) from her third floor room...lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the pounding waves...I only use the word 'breakers' when the Atlantic Ocean is involved, like at Machrihanish!
