Christmas fun

Couple of days in France, pre Christmas, looking for goodies (or wine)
There was a Christmas parade through the streets of Boulogne on Saturday so we went for a look.
I thought it was due at 4.30, it arrived just gone six. I had a really good view of rain and wind and cold and generally unpleasant for over 90 minutes.
Interesting when it arrived though. Included a flock of geese that would put my dogs to shame. The ?shepherd? said stop and they stopped, the shepherd said go and the scuttled off. All this was through the streets with shouting crowds either side, mounted bugles in front and camels and llamas behind. Undoubtedly stars of the show and deserving a better picture but by then both the camera and I was soaking wet and cold, so this is the best picture I could manage
