Safety in numbers???

I decided to make full use of the weather and do some gardening (I hate gardening!!) and I was thinking that finally I had the snail problem under control as there wasn't so many BUT then I flipped a broken and empty pot and this was what I found. I seriously didn't add any this was the pot as found. Suffice to say early in the morning I will be rehousing them pot included not sure where yet (possibly the church).

OMG we nearly had a nasty accident - Apache was sunning himself on the garden shed roof next door and another cat must have appeared. Next thing I hear cats screaming and scrapping and they fall off the roof and down a thin space between the fence and the shed with no way out, it wasn't nice to see as I rushed across the garden trying to stop the fight. Well they were stuck fast and screaming but fortunately the fence is old so I was able to break a bit off and pulled both out (the other cat landed upside down). I can't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't been there. I can say that's the most flustered I've felt for a long while. Seriously at 14 and a half he really ought not to be fighting!!
