Bravery

Today seemed like the right day for new challenges.

A walk up the Boyle River and crossed not one but two swingbridges!! I mastered them - which isn't bad since I haven't crossed one in nearly 20 years.

I did call on Blaze to help me with each of them so maybe he was there pushing me along - or laughing at my fear anyway!

A great walk - even though it was definitely further than the website had led me to believe. Finally arrived at Magdalen Hut about 5p.m. Enjoyed a fire on the river bank along with a slow slide into evening.

A pity the sandflies didn't abate at any point but I guess you have to take the bad with the good.
