Traditions
My son and I came over to our Bach/crib/holiday home in Naseby last night as part of our boys weekend. We were however busted by the girls who found us at the pub watching the Highlanders get thrashed. They had been in Dunedin together and missed us too much - or something like that. It was nice to be back together all the same.
This morning the kids wandered down to the dairy and picked up the Sunday paper and got their one dollar bag of mixed lollies.
They have done this every Sunday we have holidayed in Naseby, in fact I remember that was their first little venture by themselves when they were very young. Today, in keeping with the tradition, they never shared any with us.
