Pads
These are the agar pads we use fr microscopy. You melt it in the microwave, cool it down to about 30 degrees, then pipette it onto a cover slide (the thin glass squares used in microscopy), and sandwich it to make it flat. When dry, pipette on your bacteria then video them growing with a microscope. The videos are great when they work, but it's fiddly work beforehand!
