Anaerobic art

Luca and Mimi did so much running around the Irish Museum of Modern Artefacts that they just about managed to catch a glimpse of the exhibits while struggling to take in some oxygen.
Today's outing was a particularly good one.
Luca, Mimi, and especially Finn (he got very excited) will remember the ceiling filled with golden helium balloons. And the windows masked with yellow filters. And the melted things pouring out of the walls. And the photograph of the man with the ginormous penis, but there was an "explicit material" warning at the entrance of the room, but Mum and Dad were too busy looking at their reflections in the golden balloons and Finnzy was really wetting himself with laughter looking at the golden balloons and the hundreds of reflections of him in them, and it's all about modern art, and Luca and Mimi didn't ask all that many questions about the lesbian kiss in a loop on a screen the size of a small football field.

It's art, you know.

And a great family outing it was!
