A beautiful day.

A beautiful day up in the Lakes (technically the places we went to are actually just into Yorkshire I think) to celebrate the clocks going forward. This afternoon I went out with a friend for a drive and to appreciate the scenery with a walk. We started in Clapham which apart from the cars, is like the village that time forgot. Then it was off to Ingleton for tea and a cake. Another beautiful village/ country town with a viaduct running from one side of the valley to the other. A short walk to justify the enormous cake (delicious) and black coffee whilst sitting outside enjoying the sunshine and listening to the birds.
