Communication breakdown

I was strolling with my husband (for once not on my own going to interviews) in the Jardins du Palais Royal (famous for harbouring all sorts of colorful characters before the French Revolution) but which is now a very quaint family garden in the heart of the city a few hundred yards from the Tuileries. Anyway as we were scanning the place (we do being both keen photographers) I spotted these armchairs oddly facing opposite directions! I don't know the reason why they were placed this way but I left them as they were and took several pictures. I chose to blip this one arbitrarily.
