The Barber Shop
A barbers in Southport on the main shopping street. Southport, much like a lot of towns, has it's affluent areas and it's poorer areas right next to each other including the shopping streets and I think it's a great place to visit for the day to look around especially as I am normally landlocked in a hilly area of the country and Southport is on the coast and so open and flat. I also picked up an Olympus OM10 camera with a 50mm lens in a charity shop in great working order, which now has some film in it to start taking some photos.
I love window reflection photos with instant layering and the barbers were attracting a lot of attention in their smart waistcoats and shirts of a bygone era. Shot with Nikon D7000, 18-105mm lens and edited in photoshop.
I took the plunge and signed up to lifetime membership. I haven't been on blip much at all recently with one thing or another and I am not going to be a prolific blipper but I do know this is a great community and I want to support blip central in keeping it going.
