Up north

Went up to worksop again to see our friends. On the way up we stopped off at Cresswell crags which was really interesting. There are several old limestone caves which were inhabited for a few weeks each year during the ice age, when the ice had melted back a little in the summer. The animals came up to eat the new vegetation followed by the people who used the animals for a food source, their skin for clothing and their bones for tools. The only cave inhabitant we saw was this orb weaving cave spider - oh joy!
Then up to C and G's - so good to see them again.
