Mothers' Day flowers

A very unoriginal blip of some of the beautiful flowers I received from D#1 for Mothers' Day. Thank you, K.

She disappeared off to church , first in Drymen, then in Glasgow, so it has been a normal Sunday for me - ironing, reading the paper, doing the crossword/Sudoku puzzles, etc - plus going to feed Turbo The Tortoise whose owners are away for the weekend. He didn't even come out of his hidey-hole to say thanks hello.

I also ended up doing a common Sunday afternoon activity - washing the car - and that was because it had been splattered with bird poo, which I believe can be detrimental to the bodywork.

Tomorrow we await the arrival from Aberdeen of Daughter #2 and Mabel for a brief gathering of the Clan MacFreuchie.
