Duathlete
Mother of a wind for Mother's Day, particularly for the cyclists competing in the Scottish Duathlon Championships who had to slog headlong into it for a good part of their 40km on the road.
Not at all helped by someone pointing a camera lens at them at the top of the biggest climb on the route either. Good on them too, especially this 'Super Vintage' lady competitor reaching the top of the Tullibody brae here in much better nick than I would be after what she's just completed. She went on to win her category too (OK, she was the only one in that category, but a great achievement nevertheless).
Funny old day weather-wise, feeling bitterly cold in the wind and looking like we've been stuck in the middle of a big cloud all day. A bit of a contrast to the DWD vacationers down the road a bit who we've just been facetimed by - they're sitting in t-shirts and sunglasses underneath blue skies. Jammy buggers.
