Lesley and Bob

We travelled up to Creaton. Northamptonshire today, to stay with two very good friends. I was at college at Chester with Lesley in the 1970's and she lived nearby when I worked in Leicestershire in the 1980's. She retired last Summer after a career as Head Of an English Department and English teacher. She is now going to train as a lay minister. She married Bob a few years ago after waiting a very long time to find' Mr Right'.They have a really good partnership and he is also having a change of career and looking at the Ministry. Rosie is a 'spronger' ( think that's the correct term.
We all went to a 60th Birthday Party in Markfield Leics. in the evening and the Irish band 'the Croic' plus a rat pack style crooner made for a good evening.
