Mushroom Picking in the Merchant City

Street Art in Glasgow.......

I have been terribly spoilt today.  Took the train into Glasgow and met  Four Story, (my gorgeous daughter) and she took me for afternoon tea at the Willow Tearooms...... more of a feast than an afternoon tea.....haven't been able to eat any dinner.  Then we strolled around the city for a bit, and I took my blip in the Merchant City.  Walked down to the Suspension Bridge and crossed over to where she had parked her car.  

She had another surprise for me when we got home, as as well as a beautiful Mother's Day card, she gave me a copy of 'The Great Tapestry of Scotland', the book by Alistair Moffat featuring all the tapestries, which I had seen and loved...... now I can look at them to my heart's desire!

When we arrived home there was a beautiful bouquet waiting for me from G,A and E, and they arrived shortly after us, with a Mother's Day card and some chocolates.  I am spoiled!!!

Made some dinner, although I could not eat it, I don't think I will be hungry for quite a while.
