Skylark

A beautiful start to Mothers day with blue skies so we headed to the Cuckmere Haven for a walk over the downs to the sea and back again.
On our return the cloud came up but we saw plenty of birdlife including Oystercatchers and numerous Skylarks.

On our way back home, we called in at the Jevington Tea Gardens for egg sandwiches and scones for lunch. A treat to be able to sit outside in March.

Pete gave me a break from cooking as he prepared dinner - thank you darling.
