Waffles at Smitingen

Smitingen is a beach on the outside of the island of Härnön. It's a broad sandy beach and is sheltered so it's a very popular place in the summer.
One of the sports clubs (I think) has just started serving waffles there every Sunday and it seemed to attract a lot of people even on a cloudy and chilly (+5C) day like today. It helped that there was no wind so you could sit outside, albeit well wrapped up.
Once we'd got a couple of waffles + jam + cream + coffee inside us we took a walk across the beach and along the rocky coastline to the headland you see coming in from the left.
Once again it was hard to choose one image and in the end this one won because it showed a little life on the beach, and I have too many unpopulated landscapes in Blipfoto. As usual when there are runner-ups you can find them on flickr.
I blipped this beach on a very different day in December - perhaps I'll start a "Smitingen" set!
