Mother's Day

A gorgeous day with my family. Mum and dad came over for Mother's day. With my sister, my niece, her new bloke and his two lads. Quite a gathering to meet Scrabble. We played games, tabled tennis, walked up to our favourite Sunday lunch pub The Hare & Hounds in Walsden. We ate well, drank a few pints and then waved them off. I forget sometimes how hard Mother's day must be for mum, the ghost of my brother always in her mind. This is a lovely photo of Scrabble asleep on Mum. When I came in, they were both asleep, but she woke before the photo was taken. She tried to pretend, but that's why she's smiling.
