London Calling….

Mr G is just back from an overnight stay in London.

He was nominated for an IRN news award for his radio documentary about the 30th anniversary of Aberdeen winning the European Cup winners cup in 1983.

He sent it away and thought nothing about it. To his surprise and delight his documentary was nominated. He and two others were picked out of many applications to attend an awards evening in London.

He had a fantastic time and unfortunately didn't win but the fact he was shortlisted to the final three was just as good as winning. He met some amazing people and enjoyed his experience.

This is Mr G with his framed Nominee certificate that will take pride and and place at his work. This hopefully is the start of many :)
