More progress, again and again..

Cold, NE wind, today, and hazy, but dry again. 7 days now without rain. Ground is drying out, and plan to put manures on tomorrow, plough Tuesday.

Been in the shed today, building the stairs to the hay loft. Not straightforward. Have built a landing over the shelving unit that the trains will store in, and built the steps from here to the hayloft above. A little awkward now doing the stair to the landing. If I did a straight set of steps, you'd bang your head on the joist, and they'd be quite steep. So opted to do a spiral run. As you can imagine, this is a little more difficult to do. But I'm getting there.

Just seen the list of winners at the schools Chess competition in Inverness. Pleased to say that one of the lads scored 4/6, and won a medal. I am so pleased for him..
