Dunnock at the bird table
Des fed the birds a few times while we were away so they are all pretty satisfied. The tricky bit was the bird table, because we used to set out a new pile of forest crumble daily. Then, I worked out how to turn a spare piece of drainpipe and a flower pot into a lidded hopper to keep the feed continuously in supply over a number of days. This would appear to have been a success - blue tits, great tits, robins, pied wagtails and the dunnocks are all still thriving.
