So much for my lie in! Typical the only day I have chance and I'm wide awake at 6.30!

Made the most of it by messing with shots of flowers, practising using manual before heading over to mums.

Took mum up to Nostell Priory, she used to go years ago with her dad. Despite the lack of sun and grey sky, it was a lovely day.

The rooms in the house are amazing. The library was probably my favourite room, the number of books was impressive, as was the size of some of them. The wall and door were made to look like books to ensure it's in keeping with Rococo style, quite incredible.

The tapestry room was impressive (my blip) though I chose to take it through the mirror for a different perspective!

Disappointing day of photos really, as a lot of them are too dark, though they looked ok when taking them, so much for trying to only use my manual setting! My flower ones turned out a little better. I will upload a few on to Flickr later
