Marble Bay

I vowed to stay away from school work this weekend, and I'm pleased to say that I've stuck to the plan, although I do need to reread my reports tonight!

It's done me the world of good although I haven't been feeling well enough to go to the gym or for a run.

However I did manage a walk this afternoon. We parked at Jerbourg and walked to Fermain Bay.

The blip is Marble Bay, which we passed en route. Think I will take a walk down there next time because it looks so serene and peaceful. We opted for the ice cream route, however, and stopped at the beach cafe.

I wasn't looking forward to the walk back to the car but Ol insisted on walking back a different route which ended up in the lanes alongside Jerbourg road, which was actually very pleasant indeed!

My mum had a lovely Mother's Day- I cooked roast for my parents at lunchtime and showered her with presents.

Roxy got me a card and a lovely flowerpot filled with chocolate cake and lollipop sticks with choc chip cookies on the end that had 'Mummy' iced on; delicious and so cute:-)
