A mud lark

Today has been really lovely. We were both worried that Arthur would be nervous about his swimming lesson. Far from it, he absolutely loved it. He was gleeful as he demanded 'again' as he finished one width. All the others in the class waited patiently but Arty paddled away after the ball he had just thrown. He grinned the entire time. Annie also enjoyed it though not in quite such an obvious way. It was mother's day today so we went off to the barn for a roast beef dinner. Peter, Becca and Oliver were there and Arthur played in the bird bath. This is the resultant picture before he got thoroughly muddy. A genuinely lovely day. In fact the only stressful bit was watching Gravity this evening. Remind me never to go into space.
