Mother's Day

It's been an almost perfect day.

Got a long lie in, Lottie must have been shattered from a couple of late nights. She slept till after 10, so I stayed in bed too as I knew she wanted to go down and make my breakfast. Did have to give her a bit of a hand as hubby was working but she did a great job, and brought me my presents too.

We had a lazy hour and then decided we really ought to get moving and out. A quick mooch in town and then we took a picnic to the local park, where I persuaded her to pose with the daffodils. We had a bit of a walk, Lottie took a few really good photos with my camera, then we had an icecream before coming home.

Liverpool made the day even better - great win, top of the league, really hope we can stay there now. Would so love to see Steven Gerrard lift that trophy, but I think there are a couple of games we are going to struggle to win.

The only downs to the day were a banging headache for most of the afternoon, although thankfully it seems to have gone no, and inevitably missing my mum.

Will try to catch up with you all very soon x
