Mother's day blossoms - or Spot the difference 3!

I took this deliberately to compare it with the one taken in the Autumn. It will shortly have shed all these petals.

I had a very nice mother's day starting with tea and a hot cross bun in bed, followed by smoked salmon and scrambled egg for breakfast with coffee down stairs.

I then tested the new shower vigorously - no probs.

After that (although I did the odd job here and there) I mostly had an idle sort of day with Fred doing the roast chicken and Alex plying me with beverages all day!
We watched 'Last of the Mohicans' one of my all time fave films. I heard from 2/3 of my absent children and phoned my own Ma - so mother's day done for another year!
