spring colours

a busy day, well a busy after lunch !! Morning was spent lounging with the paper.

Lesley received a lovely Moms Day parcel from Dan in Aus, via moonpig. I didn't realise they also provided flowers and chocs. Then off to our eldest, Nick, for our first meal in his new house. Its looking good now its furnished and decorated etc. and he is a good cook.

Seared scallops on steamed leeks for starters, then parmesan chicken with new potatoes, spinach and peas, followed by baked cheesecake with red berries and coulis :)) Ive booked him for Fathers Day already !!

The blip was a quick call into Attenborough near his house. I just noticed how nice the various spring colours are now the trees are budding
