Soho
Last time I was walking through Soho, a couple of weeks ago, I saw him in the window of an office/store- I'm not really sure! I didn't get a chance to take a picture so I was on a mission to get one today!
I've had a lovely day doing jobs and pottering at home today, all in the warm Spring sunshine. Dad is away, so everybody is out of routine! My mum and Ro took Little B to Virginia Water for a little walk, and then stopped for lunch in Ascot. Shelle and I hung out at Mum's, sunning ourselves in the conservatory and chatting. It is so lovely to relax here.
In the evening I went out with the guy to London, where he was DJing. Unfortunately, having driven all the way up there, we arrived to find they had double-booked. Uh oh. The other DJ showed up, and predictably the boss bowed out to let them sort it between them. In short, the other guy won, and my friend was a little bit pissed. We had a walk and he called a few friends he had arranged to meet. He was sounding very animated retelling the story, but he was speaking Dutch so I only managed to pick out a few choice words that apparently don't translate well! We stopped for a drink in a little pub in Carnaby Street. It was a bit cold as we stood outside, but it was good fun and he felt better after I bought him a beer :-)
We had a nice night, and we weren't too late, which was nice. Sometimes it's just nice to spend time together at home rather than at a bar. Lovely night, just wish it wasn't always so long to the next time.
