The fan had been dismantled in readiness for me to take it to Alexandra's place. Even though they've got air- conditioning, they like to use a fan which is much cheaper to run.

We were going to se my sister this morning, but had a call from my brother-in-law to say she was unwell.

So we just went for coffee and went for a mooch around the shops. I managed to get home before the rain started and it is still very humid.

Got home to find one of my headlights was not working. No problem just replace the bulb. Wrong, in my car you have to take out the whole headlight assembly to replace the bulb!!!
So I will have to get the garage to do it. More expense.

Gotta love modern cars.
