A daffodil for Mother's Day

For Mother's Day my wife just wanted a brief walk at the Botanical Gardens. Our daughter had a school project to complete, so she didn't want us to return home too late. Lots of rhodadenrons and daffodils to photograph and a lovely late lunch at the (not too surprisingly) very busy cafe.

This was taken on our way to the Botanical Gardens. Our boy saw a daffodil lying on the field in Inverleith Park and bolted off into the distance. I like to think he grabbed it for his mum as a Mother's Day present but I think he just fancied a quick run.
